The world is going through a crisis that many of us have never experienced. As the pandemic goes on it is important to acknowledge the situation at hand and find ways to cope with it. It is easy to get overwhelmed at a time like this not only because of the pandemic but also as a result of the movements going on all across the world. To not stress ourselves out too much we must remember to check in on our own health daily

PHYSICAL HEALTH

  • Rest and stay hydrated

  • Fuel body by eating 

  • Exercise at least 30 minutes a day

  • Avoid Binge eating

  • Avoid Alcohol consumption

MENTAL HEALTH

  • Focus on things you can control

  • Interact with friends and family through phone calls or messages

  • Avoid fear-mongering information that is not reliable

  • Use this time to expand your knowledge and read a book

  • Focus on the present day and not the future. Be grateful for the day. 

  • Meditate

  • Start days with affirmations

  • Start a daily journal

  • Set goals for yourself for a post-covid you
